Who we are:
Holly Schoenbauer
Founder & Executive Director
Holly Schoenbauer is passionate about empowering youth to have a voice, grow up knowing that they have value, and to believe in themselves no matter what their background. Holly works as Executive Director of Project Friendship, a non-profit in Northfield MN that matches kids with a mentor from a local college as well as the founder and executive Director of This Is Me.
Holly is a foster parent along with her husband David. They have three biological children, and have been foster parents to more than a dozen foster youth in their home.
Holly has her bachelor’s degree in Theology and psychology from the University of St. Thomas as well as her master’s degree in Gifted and Talented Education.
In her spare time Holly enjoys reading, camping throughout the summer months with the whole family, and thrifting.
